Both of the last 2 rewards have gone to Anno Online players for their creativity.
Sorry, is this not The Settlers Online?
I have no interest in Anno Online - I tried it, it bored me. So please can we keep the The Settlers Online Home Page for Settlers Online restricted to Settlers Online info only?
i do have to agree with this... but also not...
as its also related to TSO it comination between both as you can see with the buildings...
but the entry isnt entered on this forum but on the anno forum i suppose... as its not findable here ...

Solve the problems .... bring over the good game-play stuff from Anno :evil_grin:
Surely the reason why the gem prizes are going to players for their anno/TSO related entries is that there are no other entries worth giving prizes to. Haven't been any creative entries on the EU server forum for a while.

I have to agree that Anno is a totally different game although some of its better aspects could work here too (blue outline on collectibles, stack star menu etc.)
I can understand the desire for a little 'cross promotion'. However, given we are talking about a Spotlight Feature for the The Settlers Online forums, I agree this should be the exception rather than the rule and that two in such rapid succession is more than a little 'off'.
Then surely the Devs should take that as an indication that their current creative direction is failing to inspire the player base and adjust their thinking accordingly?
I don't know about anyone else, but I recently started going through my F-list visiting everyone's island in turn and removing anyone who has obviously stopped playing. Seen a good few islands that have been inactive since Easter as they still had Stripy Egg collectibles on them and I'm not even halfway through yet!
Perhaps if they stopped, proverbially, kicking players in the teeth and, for example, actually finished the re-balancing they have left half baked (like so many other ideas they have started to implement) then people would be inspired enough to get creative again, instead of leaving in droves because they are fed up of Blue Byte's bovine bowel movements.
