    Guilds, Quests and Coins

We had a new system for guild quests and that saw a lot of good little guilds break up and members leave for greener pastures. People also feel the new quests can become expensive when repeated. I really look forward to the shop vote and getting to see what goodies will be on offer. ONE watermill or a second rate explorer? Other items i never buy anyway, but they seem very expensive. I've already heard mumblings about "not worth doing gq everyday," and "may as well play solo, not be in a guild."

Are BB trying to kill off a big part of the game, or just the guilds?

My suggestion is, just delete these parts of the game rather than leave them to suffer over a long period of time

BB put a cpl of pop up offers in shop recently, i seem to remember a bone church being on sale for a week or so. if that happens and we can use guild coins I think it would work really well and I promise I'll smile again

Totally agree vigabrand. I am fortunate to lead a very active guild with players who do the gq's regularly. We almost weekly have people join us from small guild where they are doing the quests and getting next to no guild coins due to the guild size. We also have people join us from some of the 98-100 member guilds as so many of those accounts are inactive that they again get far too little reward for doing the quests. Oddly, we have the reverse problem in that we are gaining well over 1k guild coins a week and there is nothing of value in the shop on which to use them. Shop changes, buy the main item, gather more coins till next change, repeat. Shop system needs a total overhaul.

Any idea what that suggested shop overhaul should look like?

Frozen Manors and Nobles spring to my mind, say 5k guild coins for the former and 500 for the latter.

Given the low drop rate the follow-on adventure Old friends would prove very useful for players attempting to do the 2 follow-on quest.

I would like to see both 'Shotfirer' and 'Demolition Crew' be made available with guild coins - I have reached my limit of both to use on my isle and have built on all available spaces so am in need of more land.

daisy's suggestion is good, but i think bb would need to force players to buy the gem one's 1st and I got no idea how they could make that work. Doro's idea of res's is also good, could maybe limit them so ppl dont get carried away. Not follow on adv's tho, otherwise they wouldn;t be follow on advs.

I hope other ppl come up with more ideas/suggestions as i'm sure this may give bb some ideas

also bb, following lordy;s comments surely u need to take another look at how guild coins are rewarded. Some of us like small guilds

A revison of prices levels of the items would be a very good idea.
The price level for buffs and adventures are totally off. Who would 2000 coins or more for an adventure you can have explorer find, and that you have the pleasure of for a very limited time?? Who would pay 700 coins for a buff ??
I would like to hear if there is anyone who buys these items. If not - then no point of them being there.

I always vote none of the above on these items, because there is no point putting them there at that price. Items that you use up like adventures and bufss should not cost this much.

At the level of prices we have now. I only use my coins on lasting items like buildings gens explorers....

We do have a bit more coins now than we did before. and yes I agree with vigobran - I am starting to have trouble finding anything at all spending them on.

My guess is that the selection we vote on is made by some random program, and with the time we have to put up with the result -- that just is not good enough.

I am sure someone could handle spending an hour or 2 of actual brain activity, putting together a better selection, the 4 times a year this takes place.
