A "hearthstone" type feature for generals

This idea came to me today while waiting for a general to walk back to his garrison after attacking a camp, and getting frustrated at how long it was taking. Anyone who has played WoW will remember the hearthstone feature, which allowed you to teleport back to your home base in seconds. It was a great convenience. After you used the hearthstone, it would have a cooldown of an hour, I think, before you could use it again. So, I thought, why not have a "hearthstone" for generals on adventures? There could be an icon for it maybe in the garrison, when you click on it, or wherever, and it would bring the general instantly back to his garrison. Possibly this could be an optional feature in the general's skill tree, costing codexes. The first codex you spend would grant you this hearthstone ability, with the possibility of decreasing its cooldown time by spending more codexes. Getting to this level of the tree and producing enough books to attain it would require a lot of time and playing, and serve as an incentive to play.
