    CipSoft/BB Soccer Event disaster we need assitance

    I think we can all agree that this event was a disaster.

    There are posts on this very forum about not being able to log in and play.

    Players games were impacted with:
    1) Loss of event play time, this caused people to not have time to finish quest chains. Adventures timing out, daily log in reset, production on islands impacted.
    2) Premium and PFB time was missed.
    3) Missed days of the event calendar were missed many folks missed the explorer that was behind the final day of event calendar.
    4) During the event and at this time we have the lost connection notice and the fellow with the hammer is there.
    5) Being kick from the server sometimes able to return other times it was an extended period before being able to resume play.

    Not all players have an account on one the active forum servers, likely why you do not see more posts.

    I feel as a start every player active during the event should receive:

    7 days of premium time
    1 Experienced Explorer

    Some people never had problems. I couldn't get into the US server for days but the people using the third party client were able to.

    I agree some people lost a lot more than 1 day premium time.

    for the next round of homepage problems, try using the direct url to start the game and see if it works -

    in case of this instance it is https://www.thesettlersonline.com/en/play

    it might bypass the issues- or it might not - else look for what url client adresses to directly connect to the login server


    they have a whole mix of issues with the new and improved server farm of Ubisoft- which is as bad or worse than the old server farm- So hopefully in a few months time, this starts going away when hosted by Cipsoft in their own infrastructure- At least they have no excuses to not fix stuff quickly and/or in different ways
