The bigest problem for me in this game is the lack of controll

So i have played the game for a while. and i find it anoying i cant get realy controll over the flow of gods. its to automated. The only thing i have controll over is my army when and where it attacks. I feel the logistics is to simpel and to automated. No roads problems withe picking up resourse. The game is to muche a like anno for my tast. It could realy be called anno online also.

But then again i realy liked settlers 1 and 2 and thought 3 was ok.

Here the workers are transporting(marketing) their goods themselves(and there's no automated thing to add for me). So what do you need to control? You control building building order and build them if you want to get some kind resources. In those settlers before you had carriers/workers who made that job and you controlled what resources you needed to transport the fastest or mainly, here is all transported immediately by this worker who is dealing with that kind of resources. Is it understandable?

i want to stop the reasle of cirten goods i want more cool going to coper smelter then tool producktion. more water bear and les weet to mill.

that is controll. i wan the worker cutting wood to keep cuting wood and let other picket up. all this fine details that i get the logistics just right so im getting max production withe what i got. I want a wood cuter to work at 66% so i 1 planter can keep up withe him.

    I want controll!!!

That would make the game a little bit too complicated, no?
U can stop the tool making thing for some time to give all the coal to your copper smelter e.g..

Imo it would make the game feel like an accountants' game..
Simplicity is what I appreciate in games, especially games like this!

Well if its to simpel you realy cant do anything. And this game is to simpel. but i might acspet that it dosent have to go overboard.

You could solve it by adding an option to lay production lines from eg. the woodcutter to the saw mill thingy.
And via those lines (by clicking on them, idk) you can change the intensity they are being used, for example 3/4 of the goods take this road to that building, so in this way u get what u want, but not making it too complicated.

U should make those roads cost something imo, they are 'better made' then ordinary roads, making the people on it walk faster.
-> 10-20 wood (and even better roads stone?)

I am really appalled by the bad spelling of all you people in this thread! Anyway, the game would be improved if you went back to Settlers 2 type goods transport. If you had workers moving the goods for you instead of the producer doing it themselves. Roads I can live without, as long as paths get worn into the ground and eventually evolve into roads.

Back in Settlers 2 or 3 there was a function to do exactly what znork wanted. You could totally control the flow of goods via sliders. I think that would be a good addition to this game. An example would be Coke, you could decide how much goes to the smelters and how much to the weaponsmith.

The (s2 or 3) game runs fine with the sliders on default but the ability to 'fine tune' things would be very useful in a continuous game like this.

I also used to like the porters, diggers and builders as they were sometimes a nightmare to get right. Something like those might add a bit more playability to this game, I think that the more choices we have on screen the more interesting the game will become.

But number 1 priority should be to make the roads work properly, lol.
