I've been trying to search the forum for info on the Gem Pit but I've no luck. Does anyone know how it works? Does it run out? Does it need placing in a specific area? what is the gem creation rate? Can it be upgraded?

It gives you exactly twice the amount of gems as it costs. I don't remember the rate but it is very slow, I think you will get those gems after 6 or 12 months. It runs out and is destroyed. It cannot be upgraded. It cannot be buffed.
