The problem with the so called PvP in this game is that it is stripped of every single actual pvp element.

You cannot actively defend the colony, you cannot reclaim it once its taken away from you, you have no control over who you attack. I wouldnt be surprised if you were able to attack the colonies of your guildmates.

The core of the feature either misses the elements that make it pvp or has them watered down to a level where colonies are just alternate adventures that cannot compete with regular ones. Without a major overhaul of the fundamental mechanics of the game I really dont see how this could be changed.

And do you think gamble boxes that players buy with gems is a pedi7 or they don't want little boys cry if they see the epic battles with a lot of blood ?!?

if this was communicated clearly 5-6 years ago at least noone would have had any expectations when "pvp" was first announced.

I still quite like Colonies system as occasional add on. Normal adventures, FT, Ali Baba, Ventures ..... they all follow basically the same combat engine rules. PvP gives me somethng a bit different, faster flowing etc. Not saying it couldn't be improved, but for me the main improvement would include better integration into the rest of the game in terms of rewards, maybe better yield from collonies, functionality of castle as settlers building or something etc. Also would like it if colonies were more interactive in some way after they have been conquered, maybe second type of colonies ? As for "real PvP" I'm not interested at all. The absence of real destructive PvP is what allows me to play this game. I appreciate this as building strategy with a sort of "non-destructive" war element. If I wanted destructive war maddness I'd play different games like Evony or something. So yes, it could be improved, but I'm glad it's here and enjoy it even as it is. Would enjoy it more with some improvements though. That's for sure.

Very strange why they tried making something that goes against their own communication rules.
It also makes me wonder why they allow something that goes against peg7 on their own pictures. Cant give an example because I am not allowed to describe it )

Completly agree. Let's have ships, let us sail out and explore new world, build new settlement, and maybe align this new opportunity with a form of "PVP".

To be fair, they did check our interest of different aspects (RT combat being one of them) in a survey about a new combat system.
Apparently, there were not enough players rejecting "this dribble" as a bad idea.
25/11-14 , 23/02-16 .. The end is coming and it will look like this .
