What happens, when I accept a trade in the trade window, but the other player never accept my offer (leaves the "trade accepted" email unopened)? Because as I see, my goods is subtracted when I accept an offer. Will those goods "float in nowhere" forever?

only way would be mailing Support.
Other option is just create new account (never use current again)
Best way is to just continue with current and adjust all mistakes as you go.

A friend of mine in USA wanted to join me in TSO and she created an account selecting EU english at log on, however we can't see each other in the game.
My server name comes at top of browser (Sandycove [Realm 3]), she says she can't see any name at top when she is logged in.
I need to advise her how to get onto the same server as me but have no real idea what she needs to do.
Help please.

When she was creating her profile, underneath the 'select avatar' part is a drop down server selection. She needs to have clicked on 'Sandycove' there, and short of signing up a new account I can't think of a solution. I have no idea why she can't see a name at the top.

You need to fulfil all of the requirements of the quest. Underneath the text you will see that you need to "make available" a certain number of resources. Once you have (the box will go green), click on finish and then you'll be able to complete the quest.
