I don't think this game was thought as a fast-play game, so it would not turn out a good game if you could do everything in one day. If you have a suggestion please try to pull it out, but this thread is not a suggestion. Motion to move it into general or questions about the game. Thank you

A gold deposit only contains 300 ore; an iron deposit only contains 700/750 ore - so mining anything is expensive because either the mines have to be refilled [using buffs bought using gems which have been bought with RL money] or we can leave the mine to go empty which means an awful lot of materials are needed just to rebuild the mine....

Basically imo everything in this game seems geared to making people want/need to buy more and more gems....

If your timing is decent, you can demolish the mine before it is exhausted, taking 25% of the initial cost back.

Also, if you dont waste building licenses producing useless crap, you should be able to squeeze enough resources to maintain gold production and new mines without problems. If you have problems, it means that either youre too low level, you didnt upgrade your building resource production or you do waste time and resources producing useless crap.

Im running 8 mines ever since I reached level 30 without problems, the only refill buffs I had were the one from compensation packages, namely 3-4 times last year.

1 goldmine cost 1400 HW planks and 1400 marbels and 1500 tools.. you get 300 gold nuggets/ore that gives you 150 Goldbars (300/2)
150 gold bars gives you 37,5 coins after 15 hours. (that is without buffs)
I have to say I agree with Macpears.
I could get a lot of more coin just selling that amount of marbels and HWplanks and tools.. and that probl mutch faster than 15 hours +

There will always be coins.. But extracting it is really noneffective and a waist of time and resources.. Unless they change something in the production sequence.

Let's put production of gold in reality...

Usually good gold vein is about 1000 tons where you can extract about 14 grams of gold per 1 ton. Let's say in this game 1 gold ore = 14 grams of gold

For one Troys unce (1 bar of gold) requirement is about 32 grams of gold.

So if we compering our game with reality it should be:

    1 gold mine = 1000 gold ore
    2 gold ore + 4 coal = 1 gold bar
    1 gold bar = 1 coinage

Running the coin production without buffs would not be economical, that's very true. However, once your economy is more stable, you will produce those resources needed to maintain the ore production.

Prices of resources will soon fall as people will upgrade their economy and play adventures which will result in more stuff being available for the market.

sorry anea you will only pull out 18000 gold ore out of your mine if you can pull all the ore out in the time limit aka 32hrs x 3 or 48 hours x 3 if buffed by a friend
to do that successfully you'd need to have a lvl 5 gold mine before you start and i'm still not sure you could mine 6k gold in 6 days at a rate of 5 though without the timings i cant give much of an answer there to be proper
as soon as your buffs run out they will revert to the normal state

additionally the cost of getting to the lvl 5 gold mine would be also quite high its 1500 tools to get to lvl 3 and your looking at least to another 3500 tools to get to the lvl 5
