I think you have your noob and expert declarations reversed...

It costs me 1880 Nibs and 2360 Paper each day to make 4 Manuscripts (glue used 24/7). One level 5 finesmith can only make 920 nibs and that's even if it's buffed 24/7. So with two level 5 finesmiths you still end up a little short so technically as an expert you need three finesmiths. Now we can drop the 3rd right? Sure we can if you go the 24 hours a day buffing. But if it's twice a day from a friend for 18 hours a day then you need 3 finesmiths as an expert bookmaker not 1...

    * 12 Levels worth of finesmith production (two level 5 and one level 2) x 1.75 (3/4 of the day buffed) = 1932 Nibs

Yes, I realize other books are required for science system but I take this position because what I'm interested in is still far away, even past the general and military science that is still yet to come. Manuscripts are used for all books so no overkill will occur for a long term plan.

50 Bronze Weapons level 5?! This can be reversed as well if kept within the same context you are using which has no reference to the person playing and their game play style, so therefore we must assume your average game play/pursuits. With 11 Bronze weapon makers I make exactly enough if I wish to make 2000 recruits per day, everyone gets a sword. When I turn my war machine on and make only 1600 recruits then yes I have 400 overkill that situation, that's expected as other unit types needed for different things but I don't have my bronze sword production exceed my settlers production. So once again within the context your using, 50 would/could be way overkill.

Commerce and collecting, etc., are different things. Someone makes 50 or more weapon makers then congratulations, well done. Many players get right into extremes making a certain type of item. That's what's great about this game, we can go extreme right from the start of playing it. Some players may stock up on a million or more swords, what ever they choose to do.

    * Some players may not have any bronze sword production at all and just buy as needed since they are cheap to buy by the experts.

Its easy to organize trades with friends and guild members for good rates for things you are short of or things they need. Being active and part of a community you are happy in is expert play. We don't need insane production, high maintenance islands for that.

    How about this?

noob: you think you've got a good deal on TO when you buy 10k of something for a cheaper rate than you can get 1k (i.e. a few gcs per k), and you sell some of the extra that you don't need.
expert: stop trading for gcs, trade for what you're short of instead, and get an even better deal at the same time.

Pro -> making moves, decisions, control the market, share the wealth with guildies, tacktics, speed adventuring, planning, calculating,.. 50 bakeries teaming up with 50 bronze weapon smiths, buffing 150 baskets in 2 min without needing a list, making your own adventure guides, playing the game your way, leveling up guildies, sending out free horseback adventures in guild to new beez, teaching and learning, having fun !!
Noob -> forgetting to send the final wave in a block move, having buffed buildings run out of water, collecting dark castle's, 5 coinages with no storehouse in sight, thinking you can play this game on your own, not being aware of prices, trading your ML for a DP, asking trade price for ls's in guild, starting adventures without the troops, buffing barracks when you dont have settlers, spending al day online trying to play for free but not getting a rl job so you can buy some gemsies .DDDD

Expert - when you are no longer surprised when you senselessly slaughter huge numbers of cavalry or XBmen because you made a major boo-boo trying to do an adv on autopilot when you really should have been sleeping.
    We love our new CM.

    Newfoundland: 20th November 2011 to 25th November 2014. RIP
It was good while it lasted.
