I was actually hoping for new gfx on the garrisons and I like the look of the different garrisons What I don't like is that Stronghelmet won't be unique anymore as it'll be available in the Merchant (Could only get it in the 1st edition starter pack before over 2,5 years ago).

With all the recent back-and-forthing and items/content on the Test appearing/disappearing/reappearing/disappearing again a little caution in expectations seems wise. Edited my previous to reflect that.

NB Content on the Test is always "subject to change" before going live.

Until BB say something specific about their future availability it may bear keeping in mind Log and Stronghelmet have so far only been available from retail/starter packs. Edit: It's not clear if they're on the Test now just to try on their new clothes or if they are in fact "Coming Soon".

That was largely me thinking out loud and using your post as a springboard to sort through:

"Oh! Klotz/Log ("Log"? Seriously? I understand it's a direct translation but Log? ) and Stronghelmet! In the shop! After two-ish years!"

"Huh. No change log... new clothes... test server... BB wouldn't add something as large as "exclusive" gem Gens to the live game with no fanfare would they?"

"But... BB wouldn't squeeze them in just for testing purposes without mentioning they wouldn't really be available... would they?"

"Pete's sake... BB would and have done variations of exactly both of those... Probably best to err strongly on the side of caution. Whatever they end up doing."

So... I'm hesitant to post this but as the question "Are these Gens actually coming to the live-game shop or are they only on the test to try on their new clothes?" was asked directly in this thread and the response was that they are indeed not "new" and the change log is now posted here is the Test Server change log:

If BB don't give Klotz/Log Stromhelmet new garrisons graphics then they can expect complaints from those who already own them. Are BB trying to avoid this. Still it's strange that Grimm has not been made available so that we can see what his garrison is like, or do BB intend to roll his out at Halloween ?

I'd buy a Klotz and a Stronghelmet to add to my collection.

I'd buy them using the gems Ive mined from my gempits.

I would not buy them for gems in a gem sale, as I refuse to spend any more real money on this game in it's current state.

You guys are all jumping the gun here.

Populating The Shop with all items makes it an easy portal for developers to be able to construct accounts with any/all items they require for testing.
To do this the developer just logs into his account on the test server (which has 1 million gems) and buys for himself whatever he wants to test that day. When he is done he just runs a script that resets the account. It's standard practise I would have thought.

You cant conclude that generals will be available for sale on live just because you saw them on test.

I like the new tents, they look cool and they're useful.
Also does bighelmet have another tent than stronghelmet?
And how does this tent look then?

My understanding is stronghelmet = bighelmet and that log = klotz, from what I understand if you have stronghelmet from the retail pack you can still buy bighelmet.
